Overview

These projects focus on helping to implement the habitat provisions of Strategy 2 of Canada’s Wild Salmon Policy within the Skeena Watershed. Strategy 2 Action Steps include:

  1. Document habitat characteristics within Conservation Units
  2. Select indicators and develop benchmarks for habitat assessment
  3. Monitor and assess habitat status

Conservation Unit Snapshots

'Conservation Unit (CU) Snapshots' are short graphical reports that summarize key information about the state of each of the Skeena Watershed's unique salmon populations, as well as their habitat.
